J.R. Dill got his start 8 years ago making wine as a hobby in his parent's basement. Things progressed from there and in 2009 founded J.R. Dill Winery. J.R. Dill's great grandfather, H.J. Dill worked in the vineyards here over 100 years ago. (Pictured left, far right).

J.R. Dill Winery is located six miles north of Watkins Glen on the east side of Seneca Lake on New York State Route 414. We are on the righthand side of the road if you are traveling north. Once you see the Seneca Spring Resort we are the next driveway on the right. If you are traveling south on NYS Route 414 we will be on the left about 1/2 mile past Atwater Estate Vineyards.
